Update Voter Registration
How can I change my name on my voter record?
If your name has been changed since you registered to vote, you must notify the Kansas City Election Board.

The Election Board will send you an updated ID card with your updated name.
How can I change my address on my voter record?
If you have moved since you last registered to vote, you can fill out a new Postcard Application Form.
- Submit your name
- Current registered address
- Date of birth
- Last four digits of your social security number
- Your new address

If you would like to add a party affiliation to your voter registration, or if you would like to update your party affiliation, you must notify the Kansas City Board of Elections.
